It's not race, LeBron James, but it might be you

1. The point that he is trying to make is that when Lebron James was given awards and praise no one said that the reason was because of his race. However when he is accused of doing something wrong some are willing to blame it on his race. He is tryting to say that race can't be used as an excuse or a loophole to get away with doing wrong.

2. I agree with his point. I agree because I believe that this happens too much within our society. Some people truly think that when they do something wrong they can say that it is unfair. They can also say that the only reason that they are being punished is because of their race.

3.  "Do you think there's a role that race plays in this? Do people love you because you're African American?"  This is the writer's strongest point because it shows that people do not love Lebron because of his race. They love him because of his amazing ability to play basketball. In the same way, they are not disappointed and angry with him because of his race. They are angry and disappointed because of the fact that what he did was wrong.  He should be accused and blamed for what he did. This is true for all people, of any race.
